THE PATIENCE AND PERSEVERANCE OF ADZIAH ABD AZIZ


 


Adziah Abd Aziz is a writer and a poet and her journal and poems were presented and published internationally. Being a freelance-writer in Malaysia, Adziah Abd Aziz had also participated in a few Poetry Anthologies Books published in ASEAN countries. Her latest work reviewing 2 poem books, Between Stolen Glances and Sands of Sri Lavender by Siti Ruqaiyah Hashim were acknowledged by Campus 24/7 News UDS in Ghana and Iwabogdany.org in Belgium. Writing is her passion and perpetually she has high hopes to be able to publish her own books in near future...

STRIKE THE WORDS

 

Walking to the phase

where thoughts illustrate the phrase

never ever been too haste

when things need to be seen and trace

go along the path with grace

for nothing as precious as spectacular wave

let’s construct the poems from fame to haze.

spread vaguely over the wicked rumors ablaze

 

 

BEAUTY

 

Somebody asked

what is beauty?

It’s in the eyes of the beholder

thou the more it become fancy

thou shalt make unto thee stronger

to love and be solemn devotee

no fault not even weakness

awaits along the pathway

all wrongs can be forgiven

all turns cud have been straiten

as long as love sincerely written

and keep jingly alive

not only in the eyes

but excitedly strive

 

 

 ON MY WAY

 

Many years ago

stepping onto the ground

feel the pebbles around

touching the smoothness

wiggle the roughness

all in one light step

to my mother's hand I grab

tiny footmark revealed

innocence

youthfulness

flown to the past years

walked along gentle and odd breeze

footstep I sought, geezz...

and now

still stepping on the same ground

with long slim wooden hand

hopelessly, I tightly grab

on my way

hovering illusive memories

from the past activities

dragging my leg to step further

while thinking for the future

no more steps to linger...

BIODATA OF DOMENICO PISANA DOMENICO PISANA was born in Modica in 1958, is the Founding President of the Caffè Letterario Quasimodo, a literary circle, which has been promoting forten years the cultural, poetical and literary valorization of the Iblean territory. After having finished his degree in Theology, he obtained a Ph.d in Moral Theology at the Accademia Alfonsiana dell’Università Lateranense and the II level Master in School Leadership. He has been a journalist since 1985 and is the Director of the online newspaper www.radiortm.it .
