POEMS BY EMEL KOSAR

DOLUNAY
kristal bakışlı yağmur adam
içime işliyor kekrek damlaların
sonsuzluğa doğru uzanıyor dalgalar

coşkun denizlerin kucağında

gölgemle vedalaşıyorum

ihanetler biriktiriyorum intiharın için
dünya: yenilgi denizi
ay: yitik nehir

katilimi tanıyorum

FULL MOON

rain man with crystal look

your sour drops touch me deeply

in the embrace of furious seas

waves are reaching for eternity

i say goodbye to my shadow

and collect betrayals for your suicide

earth: the sea of defeat

moon: missing river

i recognize my murderer

Translated by Yasemin Üşümüş

SOĞUK
kuyuya atılan taş
ıstırap kalkanı ay
gölgeniz suda sarmaş dolaş
oysa taş yerinde ağır
gökyüzü avuçlarımda

COLD

the stone which thrown into the well

the moon which shield of agony

your shadows locked in a closer embrace in the water

but the stone is heavy in its place

the sky is in my palms

Translated by Yasemin Üşümüş

KAYIP SONAT
rüzgârı katlayıp bir kenara koysam
dağılır rüyam

bestelemek için yıldızları toplasam
solar notalarım

unutulmuş şarkılar gibi
bir tutam ışığa sığdırdım zamanı

LOST SONNET

if i put away the wind

my dream will scatter

if i collect stars for composing

my note will fade

i fit into the time to a pinch of light

like forgotten songs

Translated by Yasemin Üşümüş
