 Sreedharan Parokode a bi lingual poet and lyricist has thirty books of poetry to his credit, including 'Weeping Womb', 'Slum Flowers,''Mahatma Gandhi' etc. His childrens' literature includes 'Sathyagraham' and 'Mazhavillinodu'.He has also written songs for professional dramas, and devotional songs. He has written songs for animation film also.. Sreedharan has attended various literary conferences in India and abroad.  He attended and presented his poems in Belgrade,  Serbia in 2007. He also presented his poems at World Congress of Poets, in Taiwan, 2015. Sreedharan Parokode attended World Congress of Poets, China, in 2018. He has received awards and honours from various organizations.

LONELINESS

Dear Solitude,

Please come with me 

To a share a portion of my feelings 

Which has the depth of the inner heart

Frequency of friendship

And even 

the eloquence of the equations of agonies

AND

 Suffered.

DISILLUSIONMENT

------------------------------

As I was sitting in the corridor of my thoughts

An element of satisfaction peeped in to.

Narrating the victory of humanity over inhuman activity and the 

Ill-treatment offered and 

Unlettered emotion

Elaborated.

A feather reminded me of the mortality of relations, though it is colourful,

Having a tendency of flying away as and when 'time' pressed.

.THE UNACCOMPANIED

I was keenly searching for the topper of the session.

With a view to narrate, depict and elucidate the experience, 

I liked the owner to be on the victory stand.

All of a sudden the memory card was lost and vision of the 

Vicinity too.

But, a  poor word 

is seen lying

On the labyrinth of memories

Unattended...

Accompanying 

Nobody!
