TEN HAIKU POEMS
. 1.
On my way,
My steps precede me,
The shadow of the moon.
2.
It's hot,
The boy,
A cake melts between his hands.
3.
On the terrace of her house,
She sings and it repeats,
the parrot.
4.
What a surprise !
They fly together,
a crow and a dove.
5.
Mahmoud Derouich.
My calendar reminds me,
A poet is dead and not dead,
6.
What a surprise !
A spider builds a palace,
my yesterday’s dream.
7.
The moon is rising tonight,
A dog is barking hysterically.
It is trying to pounce on his shadow.
8.
August,
they wake me from my deep sleep,
rain showers.
9.
A memory,
Tonight we light the candles,
Mahmoud Derouich is reborn.
10.
A blazing sun,
they burn,
the dog and his shadow.
